Sue Rooke received her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from the University of Southern Connecticut in 1967. She currently lives and works in Boise, Idaho. She describes her work as being both accepted and rejected and feels open to seeing, feeling and expressing herself artistically through ceramics. Her work changes greatly through the artistic process, letting the clay affect and influence the process. Each of her sculptures are hand-built and fired as many as three times.
