Supplies

• Copper ( .75 x 2 inches - 18 gauge )
• 200 Mesh Screen
• Small brush
• Liquid enamel white 533
• Powder enamel, wax yellow 2110
• Bamboo stick or Needle Tool
• Map gas torch kit
• Firing Rack 
• Trivet Stand​
• Penny Bright

Step 1

1. Cut shape and drill hole at the top of the copper shape.
2. File and sand the edges so that it is smooth to the touch and wearable as jewelry.
3. Remove any scratches from the surface with  sandpaper or a wire brush. 
4. Clean with Penny Brite.

Step 2

1. Apply liquid enamel white 533 and let dry and taper towards on side

Step 3

1. Scratch (sgraffito) thru using a bamboo stick or Needle Tool

Step 4

1. Fire until enamel is glossy

Step 5

1. Use a 200 mesh sifter to apply wax yellow 2110 over whole piece until powder is opaque.

Step 6

1. Fire until red hot and glossy
